Job Summary

The Supply Chain Planning Manager will be responsible for planning resources for the Regional Supply Chain from production to the point of sale. This role is pivotal in performing Rough Cut Capacity Planning, maintaining accurate planning parameters, and creating an optimal supply plan for execution. Additionally, the manager will lead inventory management for finished goods at the country level.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an optimal, achievable supply plan for a SKU subset, aligned with contract manufacturing sites for the entire planning horizon.
  • Lead the transition of the Supply Plan to Site Production execution and Scheduling.
  • Coordinate and maintain static master data and planning parameters to support Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) and Rough-Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP).
  • Gather and review supply planning reports and KPIs, identifying root causes and opportunities for improvement to meet performance targets.
  • Calculate net requirements based on future demand forecasts and projected inventory positions while considering changes such as new products and discontinuations.
  • Perform Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) to evaluate required and available capacity, identifying future demand/supply imbalances.
  • Facilitate the Supply Review Meeting (SRM) as part of the Core Commercial Cycle.
  • Develop constrained supply plans for production and inventory, leveling under- and over-capacity periods, and prepare demand- or supply-side scenarios to support decision-making during Supply Review and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
  • Develop inventory positions/projections for finished goods and prepare variance analysis against targets.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management and/or Business Administration.
  • Experience:
    • Demonstrated experience in supply planning within a pharmaceutical or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment for 5 to 10 years.
    • In-depth knowledge of supply planning processes spanning a 0-24 month horizon, including RCCP and inventory management.
    • Experience using SAP for supply planning, including parameterization to drive planning outcomes.
    • Advanced Excel skills are required.
  • Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving abilities with the capability to synthesize multiple data sources for decision-making.
    • Ability to connect and influence diverse stakeholders across various disciplines such as finance, quality, technical, production, and scheduling to enhance performance.
    • A continuous improvement mindset aimed at bolstering supply chain performance in terms of service and inventory management.
