Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Bi Looker professional to join our team on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in Looker Analytics, Big Query, and Google Cloud Platform to design, develop, and implement business intelligence solutions. This role is pivotal in turning data into actionable insights, supporting informed decision-making across the organization. The position is fully remote and requires immediate availability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Looker dashboards and reports to meet business requirements.
• Integrate Looker with Big Query and other Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services for efficient data processing and reporting.
• Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Optimize and troubleshoot Looker data models and visualizations to ensure accuracy and performance.
• Perform data validation and ensure data integrity across all BI solutions.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on Looker functionalities and best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics roles.
• Proficient in Looker Analytics, with a solid understanding of LookML and Looker data modeling.
• Strong experience with Big Query and other data warehousing solutions.
• Hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly as it relates to data analytics and storage.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with additional BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Knowledge of SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python).
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipeline development.
• Experience working in an agile or fast-paced environment.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in BI analytics, data modeling, and dashboard development.
• Prior experience working with Looker, Big Query, and GCP is required.
