Job Summary

The Machine Learning Engineer will be responsible for deploying machine learning models on Snowflake and leveraging Cortex AI frameworks. The role involves managing machine learning pipelines and acting as a bridge between the internal Data Engineering and Machine Learning teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in data engineering principles and will utilize tools such as MLflow to monitor model performance.

Responsibilities

• Deploy machine learning models on the Snowflake data platform and write stored procedures to facilitate this process.
• Utilize Cortex AI frameworks for indexing, parsing, and Document AI capabilities.
• Manage machine learning pipelines and ensure that they are efficiently orchestrated to support various data-driven projects.
• Collaborate with the internal Data Engineering team to ensure seamless integration between data and machine learning workflows.
• Monitor the performance of machine learning models using MLflow and implement necessary adjustments.
• Support the deployment of data solutions in Snowflake, ensuring optimal infrastructure usage.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with deployment of models on Snowflake and writing stored procedures.
• Proficiency in using Cortex AI frameworks.
• Understanding of machine learning pipeline management and DevOps practices.
• Experience with data engineering concepts and tools.
• Knowledge of Snowpark and its integration with data science workflows.
• Theoretical understanding of data science principles.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with MLflow for model performance monitoring.
• Experience in working closely with data engineering teams.
