Job Summary

The MQ Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for the management and enhancement of Enterprise Message Queuing (MQ) infrastructure. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing enterprise-level strategies for MQ, ensuring that standards are set and followed consistently across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement MQ architecture and enterprise-level strategies for message queuing.
• Standardize MQ platforms by defining and implementing MQ standards organization-wide.
• Create and deploy MQ monitoring solutions to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Conduct upgrades and manage vulnerabilities in the MQ systems.
• Set up MQ monitoring systems using tools like Dynatrace or New Relic.
• Drive end-to-end automation processes related to MQ operations.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Expert-level knowledge of Rabbit MQ, IBM MQ, and Open Message Queue (OMQ).
  • Strong automation skills with proven experience in automating MQ processes.
  • Proficiency in Ansible for automation tasks.
  • Experience in writing automation scripts/playbooks for MQ.
  • Familiarity with AWS platforms and services.
  • Proficient in using Jenkins, Git, and Python for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) pipelines.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills to resolve issues effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in creating tools to automate MQ-related activities.
• Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring tools and practices.

Experience

• 3-10 years of hands-on experience working with MQ systems and related technologies.

Environment

• The role is primarily based in Chennai, Hyderabad, or Bangalore.
• Preference for on-premise work with a hybrid working model.
• Candidates must be willing to work in the PST shift (up to 10 PM IST).
