Job Summary

The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) role is critical for ensuring the quality and performance of software products. The selected candidates will be responsible for creating automated tests and ensuring applications meet stringent quality standards. This position aims to contribute significantly to the enhancement of our software development process and overall product reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium and Cucumber for efficient testing procedures.
• Execute complex queries for testing purposes and ensure rigorous Database Testing.
• Conduct SQL Migration processes, ensuring data integrity and continuity across systems.
• Collaborate with the development team to implement Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices for improved software quality.
• Identify, document, and track software defects through comprehensive testing cycles.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback on software designs and implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6 to 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing.
• Proficiency in SDET, Selenium, BDD, Cucumber, and Complex queries.
• Experience with Database Testing and familiarity with Sybase.
• Strong skills in SQL Migration and knowledge of database management systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with additional testing tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools.

Experience

• 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in software testing with a focus on automation and database testing.

Environment

• Hybrid working model, based in Noida/Gurgaon, requiring attendance at the office three days a week.
