As we expand our market footprint, we are seeking a seasoned Business Head to drive growth, operational excellence, and strategic expansion across our marketplace ecosystem.


Role Overview

The Business Head will be responsible for end-to-end business leadership—including market establishment, supply-side and demand-side expansion, operational scale-up, revenue growth, and cross-functional alignment. This role demands someone who has successfully built or scaled B2B or B2C marketplace businesses, ideally within SaaS, commerce, procurement, logistics, or digital marketplace environments.

You’ll work closely with marketing, product, operations, supply chain, and leadership teams to build winning strategies and accelerate Fundly.AI’s market dominance.


Key Responsibilities

1. Marketplace Strategy & Growth

  • Define and execute the marketplace growth roadmap for both supply and demand sides.
  • Lead market establishment initiatives—category expansion, customer acquisition, and ecosystem partnerships.
  • Build scalable GTM strategies aligned with Fundly.AI’s long-term business goals.

2. Supply Chain & Operations

  • Oversee marketplace supply chain flows, vendor onboarding, fulfilment performance, and operational SLAs.
  • Optimize marketplace efficiency by identifying operational gaps and implementing process improvements.
  • Work with operations to ensure seamless movement across procurement, logistics, and transaction layers.

3. Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate deeply with Product teams to shape marketplace features, workflows, and platform enhancements.
  • Partner with Marketing to craft customer-facing narratives, campaigns, activation plans, and channel strategies.
  • Align with Finance, Data, and Customer Success for forecasting, analytics, and customer lifecycle management.

4. Business P&L & Revenue Leadership

  • Own the P&L for marketplace business lines.
  • Develop pricing, monetization, and revenue models for long-term profitability.
  • Drive performance metrics including GMV, conversion, retention, and supply-side sustainability.

5. Stakeholder & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and scale high-performing business, category, operations, and growth teams.
  • Manage external partnerships, key customer relationships, and enterprise alliances.
  • Represent Fundly.AI with external partners, industry bodies, and strategic clients.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 15–18 years of experience in high-growth startups or digital-first companies.
  • Strong background in B2B or B2C marketplaces, SaaS platforms, or e-commerce ecosystems.
  • Proven experience scaling marketplaces, supply chains, or multi-sided platforms.
  • Expertise in market establishment, category scaling, operational design, and GTM strategy.
  • Demonstrated cross-functional leadership working with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Tech.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience driving data-led decision-making.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and strategic thinking abilities.
