Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced ArcGIS Specialist / GIS Developer to support development and integration efforts for a web-based platform. This role involves plot-level GIS mapping, data visualization, and project tracking. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, and be skilled in custom map integration into web applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate web-based GIS mapping features using ArcGIS technologies.
• Coordinate data visualization and project tracking solutions within the platform.
• Enhance user experiences by integrating custom maps into web applications.
• Process geospatial data and ensure accuracy in coordinate systems and map tiling.
• Collaborate with project teams to understand and address geographic information needs.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of hands-on experience in GIS development.
• Strong experience with ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Knowledge of ArcGIS JavaScript API, Leaflet, or Mapbox at the integration level.
• Familiarity with GIS data formats such as Shapefile, KML, GeoJSON, and WMS/WFS.
• Experience with geospatial data processing and map tiling.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python and ArcPy is a plus.
• Experience integrating ArcGIS with web or mobile applications is essential.
• Educational qualifications: Degree in Geography, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience with urban planning, infrastructure, or real estate projects.
• Working knowledge of PostGIS, QGIS, or other GIS tools would be advantageous.

Experience

• A minimum of 4–8 years of relevant experience in GIS development and application.

Environment

The role can be performed in locations such as Bangalore, Mumbai, Trivandrum, or Kochi. There may be options for remote work based on project needs.
