SAP CRM Functional Consultant
Job Summary
The SAP CRM Functional Consultant plays a pivotal role in designing, configuring, and implementing SAP Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions to support organizational objectives. This role covers the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to post-go-live support, ensuring seamless CRM operations and business process alignment. The consultant will also be responsible for resolving complex business challenges and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and configure SAP CRM solutions tailored to business needs.
- Lead and manage full-cycle CRM project implementations.
- Customize CRM base settings, including date profiles, status profiles, action profiles, and organizational determination.
- Oversee case management and activity management processes.
- Develop multi-level categorization structures and manage master data (Business Partners, products, etc.).
- Integrate SAP CRM with SAP ECC and manage pricing routines.
- Independently resolve complex and critical business issues within CRM.
- Write and validate functional specifications, business process diagrams, and solution blueprints.
- Collaborate with distributed teams and present functional solutions clearly and effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in SAP CRM design and configuration.
- Experience in 3+ full cycle implementations as a CRM Functional Consultant.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP CRM Utilities and Middleware.
- Proficient in base customization (date profiles, status profiles, org determination, etc.).
- Strong experience with case management, activity management, multi-level categorization, and master data.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- SAP CRM Certification (preferred).
- Functional area knowledge of ECC modules (preferred).
- Experience in the utilities domain (preferred).
Preferred Skills
- SAP CRM Certification.
- Exposure to ECC-CRM integration and pricing routines.
- Experience in the utilities industry.
- Familiarity with distributed and multicultural team settings.
- Proficiency in creating and validating business process diagrams and functional specifications.
Experience
- Years of Experience: Minimum 4+ years in SAP CRM Functional roles; 7+ years preferred for senior levels.
- Relevant Experience: At least 3+ complete end-to-end SAP CRM implementation cycles.
- Domain Experience: Utilities and ECC integration experience preferred.
Environment
- Location: Hyderabad, India.
- Setting: Primarily in-office; may involve collaboration with distributed global teams.
- Type: Full-Time.
- Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days.
Salary
- L1: 8 to 10 LPA - 3 to 4 years' experience
- L2: 10 to 15LPA - 4 to 7 years' experience
- L3: 15 to 25 LPA - 7 to 12 years' experience
- L4: 25LPA to 40LPA - 15 years + experience
