business development within an agency setting.
Key Responsibilities:
● Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Proactively identify and pursue
new business opportunities, build and maintain long-term relationships with
prospective clients, and drive client acquisition strategies to expand our client base.
● Sales & Revenue Growth: Leverage your sales experience to manage the entire
sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and ensuring
smooth transitions to account management.
● Sales Strategy Development: Work with leadership to design and implement
effective sales strategies that align with business goals. Contribute insights into
pricing models, proposal creation, and sales tactics.
● Proposal Development & Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals
and presentations, showcasing the agency's services and expertise, tailored to
specific client needs and objectives.
● Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research to identify
industry trends, competitor strategies, and potential opportunities. Use data to
optimize sales tactics and pitch approaches.
Requirements:
● Experience: 3-6 years of experience in business development and sales, ideally with
a focus on agency or services-based industries (marketing, advertising, digital, etc.).
● Proven Sales Record: A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets,
with experience in building and closing sales pipelines from start to finish.
● Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills,
with the ability to build relationships and present complex ideas clearly.
● Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to
achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
● Self-starter & Results-Driven: Highly motivated, with the ability to work
independently, manage your time effectively, and consistently meet performance
metrics.
