Job Summary
The Brand Manager at Duroflex will play a critical role in developing and executing brand strategies, ensuring brand consistency, and overseeing brand performance across all touchpoints. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Brand Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive brand growth and success. The role requires a strong background in sales and marketing, with proven experience in brand management within consumer goods or the mattress industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of brand strategies aligned with company goals.
- Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, brand love, and consumer loyalty.
- Translate brand elements into actionable plans and go-to-market strategies.
- Collaborate with product, creative, and sales teams to convert consumer insights into marketing plans and product launches.
- Monitor brand health metrics and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Research consumer markets, monitor market trends, and analyze competitors’ activities to optimize brand performance.
- Manage the brand’s digital presence and work closely with the digital marketing team.
- Lead content creation with the creative team for campaigns, social media, and product launches.
- Oversee budgets, spending, and resource allocation to ensure efficient marketing operations.
- Support new product development (NPD) to maintain brand consistency and consumer appeal.
Qualifications
- MBA/PGDM from a leading institute (Tier 1 or Tier 2) is required.
- 2-4 years of experience in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or FMCD (Fast-Moving Consumer Durables).
- Strong customer obsession, with the ability to deeply understand customer needs (both stated and unstated) and translate them into actionable business strategies.
- Digital savvy, with expertise in navigating today’s digital landscape.
- Self-starter with a hustling attitude, able to constructively drive organizational change.
- Creative mindset with a flair for developing innovative, aesthetically consistent brand solutions.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities.
- Demonstrated impact through first-principle thinking, hustle, and curiosity.
- Excellent project management skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously within deadlines and budgets.
- Experience in brand marketing, media planning (online and offline), NPD, social media, and ecommerce.
Preferred Skills
- Recent experience in Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) business models.
- Exposure to both traditional and digital media planning.
- Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
- Familiarity with performance-based marketing and incentive structures.
- Experience in the mattress or home comfort industry is an added advantage.
Experience
- 2-4 years of relevant professional experience in FMCG/FMCD sectors, with recent exposure to D2C as a plus.
- Proven track record demonstrating brand impact, creativity, and data-driven marketing.
