Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Delphix Engineer to design, implement, and manage Delphix Virtual Data Platform (VDP) and Masking solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data virtualization, data masking, automation, and database management across environments like Oracle, SQL Server, and others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and administer Delphix VDP and Masking environments.

• Configure data sources (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.) for data virtualization and masking.

• Automate data refreshes, provisioning, and rollback using Delphix APIs and CLI.

• Collaborate with DBAs, developers, and QA teams to deliver virtual and masked datasets.

• Create, manage, and tune masking algorithms to meet compliance and regulatory requirements.

• Support data migration, upgrade, and backup activities.

• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues and failures in Delphix environments.

• Participate in audits and ensure data masking meets regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).

• Document procedures, workflows, and best practices.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Delphix (VDP & Masking).

• Strong understanding of database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

• Experience with Delphix automation tools, including CLI, REST APIs, and plugins.

• Scripting skills: Shell, Python, PowerShell, or similar.

• Familiarity with data governance, data privacy, and compliance requirements.

• Experience integrating Delphix with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.

• Knowledge of ITIL practices and tools like ServiceNow
