Job Summary

The Performance Testing role is responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to ensure the optimal performance and scalability of web and API-based applications. This position contributes to the organization's goals by identifying performance bottlenecks and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance application performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop performance test plans, scripts, and scenarios using Apache JMeter.
• Execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests on web and API-based applications.
• Analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and system limitations.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.
• Generate detailed performance test reports and provide actionable recommendations for improvements.
• Maintain and enhance performance testing frameworks and tools to support ongoing testing efforts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in performance testing using Apache JMeter.
• Strong understanding of performance testing concepts and metrics (e.g., response time, throughput, latency).
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, New Relic) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and integrating performance tests into automated workflows.
• Good knowledge of HTTP, REST APIs, and web technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology) preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with additional performance testing tools.
• Knowledge of cloud-based applications and services.
• Familiarity with other programming languages would be an advantage.

Experience

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in performance testing.

Environment

• Location: All Brillio Locations (Bangalore/Hyderabad/Pune/Chennai/Gurugram) – Hybrid work model (in-office attendance required).
• Note: 1 round of face-to-face interview is mandatory.

Salary

• Estimated salary is 1.35 LPA per month plus taxes.
