Job Summary

The Software Engineer specializing in Apache NiFi will be responsible for developing and implementing end-to-end integration solutions, leveraging Apache NiFi and related technologies. This role is crucial for enhancing data flows and ensuring secure communication protocols, ultimately contributing to the organization’s technology advancements.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Apache NiFi and MiNiFi flows using various processors with a focus on failover scenarios.
• Implement end-to-end integration solutions utilizing NiFi processors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the application meets quality and security standards.
• Research and benchmark technology against other best-in-class technologies in the market.
• Communicate effectively with senior management and team members, presenting technical ideas clearly.

Qualifications

• Education: Postgraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Technical Skills:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in implementing end-to-end integration solutions using NiFi processors.
  • Proficient in Java and Spring Boot with Microservices for at least 5 years.
  • Significant experience (3+ years) in application security, including SSL certificates and cryptography.
  • Knowledge of distributed architecture for a minimum of 2 years.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the banking/financial domain is highly desired.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and best practices in coding, security, and documentation.
• Experience with distributed services resiliency and monitoring in a production environment.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in software engineering, focusing on integration solutions and microservices architecture.
