Job Summary

The Functional Verification Engineer will be responsible for validating and verifying designs in a dynamic environment. This role is crucial in ensuring that semiconductor products meet all functional requirements before they are brought to market. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve high-quality results and support overall project goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement verification environments using UVM (Universal Verification Methodology) for SoC (System on Chip) and ASIC (Application-Specific Integrated Circuit) designs.
• Create and execute test plans and test cases to validate the functionality of designs based on Verilog or SystemVerilog.
• Conduct simulations and analyze results to identify and troubleshoot design issues effectively.
• Collaborate with design and architecture teams to understand specifications and ensure comprehensive verification coverage.
• Document verification methodologies, strategies, and results for future reference and compliance.
• Participate in design reviews and present findings with the development team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficient in UVM and programming in Verilog or SystemVerilog.
• Solid understanding of SoC and ASIC design methodologies.
• Familiarity with AMBA Bus Protocols for efficient communication within systems.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable tasks.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with additional verification tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge of other protocols and standards in the semiconductor industry.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or TCL for automation purposes.

Experience

• 4-10 years of relevant experience in functional verification within the semiconductor industry.

The position is based in Hyderabad and is expected to involve an office setting with opportunities for collaboration and teamwork.

Salary

Competitive with experience; CTC is expected to be 4 times the current compensation.
