Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Developer to join the EMIS-X Mobile team. In this role, you will work on developing mobile-first healthcare solutions using React Native and modern development tools. You’ll be part of a team building technology that supports clinical workflows and improves patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native (iOS and Android).
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product owners to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD workflows to maintain code quality and deployment efficiency.
• Apply SOLID principles and design patterns for scalable and maintainable mobile architectures.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and fix bugs or performance issues on mobile platforms.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong hands-on experience with React Native.
• UI/UX implementation using CSS, Styled Components, and Responsive Design techniques.
• Experience with state management tools such as Redux and Context API.
• Familiarity with mobile local storage solutions like Realm DB.
• Solid understanding of mobile development concepts, performance tuning, and device compatibility.
• Version control using Git, and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with testing tools such as Jest, Detox, or similar.
• Educational qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Native mobile development using Swift (iOS) or Kotlin (Android).
• Working knowledge of REST APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI specifications.
• Experience with OAuth2, JWT, or other modern authentication techniques.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, API Gateway, Cognito.
• Exposure to Docker, Terraform, or infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
• Knowledge of HL7/FHIR standards and experience with clinical workflows in healthcare applications.

Experience

5+ years of experience in mobile development, particularly with cross-platform frameworks.

Environment

Remote / Hybrid (1–2 days onsite per month), shift timing from 11:00 AM – 8:30 PM IST.

Salary

Budgeted salary of 1.2 Lakhs.
