<p>Primary Responsibilities</p>
<ul>

<p>● Envision and drive the data science charter in Zepto and lead a team of world class data scientists.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>● Collaborate with functional leaders across Zepto to understand opportunities and process gaps and improve via data science interventions</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>● Build and iterate on AI/ ML solutions across the board to improve business metrics</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>● Design and run data backed experiments to improve the models to drive higher business impact.</p>
</li>
<li>

<p>What Are We Looking For?</p>
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
<p>● PHD in Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics from a reputed institute</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>● 10+ years of experience in the data science domain and 5+ years of managing</p>
<p>a team.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>● 2+ years of experience in consumer internet companies</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>● Experience in leading a research team of data scientists of at least 10</p>
<p>members.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>● Ability to mentor junior and senior team members on their journey to become</p>
<p>top class data scientists.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>● Ability to structure real life problems into statistical or ML problems as per</p>
<p>need.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>● Strong understanding of statistical techniques and methods such as</p>
<p>distributions(poisson, binomial), data intricacies(independent, skewness,</p>
<p>kurtosis etc).</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>● Ability to experiment with different approaches and proven track record of</p>
<p>solving ambiguous and highly complex data problems</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>● Experience in building data analytics, pipelines and deploying ML models in</p>
<p>public cloud</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>● Exceptional communication skills (Written/Verbal)</p>
</li>
</ul>
