Join us in shaping the future of healthcare technology!<br /> Job Overview<br /> As the Data Engineering Leader, you will spearhead the development and execution of our<br /> data strategy, architecture, and systems. You will lead a talented team of data engineers<br /> while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including data science, product,<br /> engineering, and healthcare experts. Your role will involve scaling our data infrastructure,<br /> ensuring data quality, and driving data-driven decision-making across the organization.<br /> Key Responsibilities:<br />  Lead and Mentor: Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing data engineering<br /> team, ensuring a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.<br />  Data Infrastructure: Architect, scale, and maintain the data infrastructure, including<br /> data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing, ensuring optimal<br /> performance and reliability.<br />  Data Strategy: Drive the data strategy for the company, including data governance,<br /> security, and compliance, ensuring data is accessible, accurate, and actionable for<br /> stakeholders.<br />  Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Data Science, Product,<br /> Engineering, and Healthcare teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions<br /> that align with business objectives.<br />  HealthTech Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of healthcare data (HIPAA<br /> compliance, interoperability, clinical data, etc.) to solve complex challenges and<br /> ensure our solutions are both scalable and compliant.<br />  Continuous Improvement: Drive the continuous improvement of data engineering<br /> processes, tools, and technologies to ensure scalability, speed, and agility in<br /> handling growing data demands.<br />  Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with leadership and business<br /> stakeholders to set clear goals, timelines, and expectations around data initiatives.<br />  Innovation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies, bringing<br /> forward innovative solutions that can optimize our data engineering practices.<br /> Key Qualifications:<br />  Experience: 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3 years in a<br /> leadership role, ideally within a fast-paced, scaling SaaS or healthcare tech<br /> company.<br />  Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and growing data<br /> engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.<br />  Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in data engineering technologies such as<br /> SQL, Python, ETL frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow), cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or<br /> Azure), and data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).<br />  Healthcare Domain Knowledge: Experience working with healthcare data, including<br /> knowledge of HIPAA compliance, healthcare standards (HL7, FHIR), and<br /> interoperability challenges.<br />  Big Data and Scalability: Hands-on experience in designing and implementing<br /> scalable data pipelines for large datasets, including real-time data processing and<br /> batch processing.<br />  Cloud and Distributed Systems: Experience with cloud-native data engineering<br /> solutions and distributed systems, leveraging cloud storage, databases, and<br /> processing frameworks.<br />  Data Modeling & Warehousing: Expertise in building and optimizing data models and<br /> warehousing solutions that support analytical, operational, and business intelligence<br /> needs.<br />  Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to<br /> tackle complex, large-scale data challenges in a fast-growing environment.<br />  Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the<br /> ability to translate technical concepts into clear and actionable business insights.<br /> Preferred Qualifications:<br />  Experience with advanced analytics, machine learning pipelines, or AI-driven<br /> healthcare applications.<br />  Knowledge of healthcare-specific databases and clinical data standards.<br />  Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in fast-paced, iterative<br /> environments.<br />  Experience with data security and compliance frameworks, particularly in the<br /> healthcare industry.<br /> What We Offer<br /> ● Competitive salary and equity options.<br /> ● Opportunity to work in a mission-driven organization transforming healthcare.<br /> ● Professional development opportunities and access to cutting-edge tools.
