About Zeno
An unprecedented energy transition has begun. To meet 2040 net zero goals, over 2 billion
electric two-wheelers (motorcycles) must be sold and $11 trillion in fuel consumption
replaced. Zeno is building a tech platform to electrify this two-wheeler market, currently
responsible for more than 4% of the world’s GHG emissions. Our mission is to accelerate
the energy transition and democratize the benefits across Africa, India, and Latin America.
With a focus on East Africa as a starting point, Zeno is building a new energy ecosystem
with ground-up development of a fundamentally better electric motorcycle and associated
battery swap network to drive a better experience for our customers.
We are looking for audacious, creative, and committed people to join us on this important
mission. You will be joining a bold team consisting of leading engineers, operators, and
entrepreneurs hailing from companies that include Tesla, Apple, Google, SRAM, Ola
Electric, Dott, LiveWire, Lucid, Bolt, Microsoft, and SafeBoda, among others. Zeno has just
closed its seed round with Lowercarbon, Silicon Valley’s leading climate tech venture
fund, Toyota Ventures, the VC of the world’s largest automotive, and 4DX Ventures, a
leading early-stage investor in Africa.
systems) to ensure all components integrate seamlessly into the overall vehicle
design.
• Define and manage interface requirements and specifications for vehicle
subsystems to enable efficient integration and performance optimization.
• Plan and execute vehicle-level testing to validate system integration, ensuring the
motorbike meets performance, safety, and reliability standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot integration issues during the design, prototyping, and
validation phases, working closely with relevant teams to implement solutions.
• Maintain detailed documentation of integration requirements, test plans, and
results to support the vehicle development process.
• Work closely with suppliers and external partners to ensure the compatibility of
outsourced components with Zeno’s vehicle architecture.
• Support design reviews and provide integration insights to ensure vehicle-level
objectives are met.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to
streamline integration processes and enhance product quality.
What You Bring
electric vehicle industry.
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems and their interactions, including
mechanical, electrical, and software subsystems.
• Hands-on experience with vehicle-level testing and validation, including
troubleshooting and debugging complex systems.
• Proficiency in CAD tools and basic knowledge of electrical and thermal analysis
tools is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to
identifying and resolving integration challenges.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in
cross-functional teams.
• Experience working on electric two-wheelers or motorcycles, with knowledge of
unique challenges in subsystem integration for these vehicles.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and testing protocols for vehicle safety and
performance.

Benefits
• World-Class Team: Join a team of leading engineers, operators, and entrepreneurs
