<div>Vehicle Integration Engineer<br /> Location: Bangalore, India<br /> Start Date: Immediate<br /> About Zeno<br /> An unprecedented energy transition has begun. To meet 2040 net zero goals, over 2 billion<br /> electric two-wheelers (motorcycles) must be sold and $11 trillion in fuel consumption<br /> replaced. Zeno is building a tech platform to electrify this two-wheeler market, currently<br /> responsible for more than 4% of the world&rsquo;s GHG emissions. You will be joining a bold team consisting of leading engineers, operators, and<br /> entrepreneurs hailing from companies that include Tesla, Apple, Google, SRAM, Ola<br /> Electric, Dott, LiveWire, Lucid, Bolt, Microsoft, and SafeBoda, among others. Zeno has just<br /> closed its seed round with Lowercarbon, Silicon Valley&rsquo;s leading climate tech venture<br /> fund, Toyota Ventures, the VC of the world&rsquo;s largest automotive, and 4DX Ventures, a<br /> leading early-stage investor in Africa.<br /> The Role<br /> As a Vehicle Integration Engineer, you will report directly to the General Manager for<br /> Vehicle Engineering. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration of various<br /> vehicle subsystems, including mechanical, electrical, and software components, into a<br /> cohesive, high-performance electric motorbike. You will have ownership over the<br /> complete vehicle design, be responsible for ensuring the design meets product<br /> requirements, and that all stakeholder support execution of that vision. This role requires</div> <div>strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and a willingness to take a hands-<br /> on approach to solve complex engineering challenges.</div> <div>Please note: this is an individual contributor role. We are a small and efficient team, and<br /> expect you to be able to execute designs in CAD, own the overall vehicle CAD assembly,<br /> perform root cause analysis to resolve issues, and delivery quality design solutions to meet<br /> our targets in collaboration with the rest of the vehicle team.<br /> What You Will Do</div> <div>&bull; Ownership the complete vehicle design, and be responsible for ensuring design<br /> meets product requirements and all stakeholders support execution of this product<br /> vision.<br /> &bull; Own the engineering BOM with responsibility to ensure it is updated and accurate at<br /> all times.<br /> &bull; Collaborate with subsystem teams (chassis, body, powertrain, and electrical<br /> systems) to ensure all components integrate seamlessly into the overall vehicle<br /> design.<br /> &bull; Define and manage interface requirements and specifications for vehicle<br /> subsystems to enable efficient integration and performance optimization.<br /> &bull; Plan and execute vehicle-level testing to validate system integration, ensuring the<br /> motorbike meets performance, safety, and reliability standards.<br /> &bull; Identify and troubleshoot integration issues during the design, prototyping, and<br /> validation phases, working closely with relevant teams to implement solutions.<br /> &bull; Maintain detailed documentation of integration requirements, test plans, and<br /> results to support the vehicle development process.<br /> &bull; Work closely with suppliers and external partners to ensure the compatibility of<br /> outsourced components with Zeno&rsquo;s vehicle architecture.<br /> &bull; Support design reviews and provide integration insights to ensure vehicle-level<br /> objectives are met.<br /> &bull; Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to<br /> streamline integration processes and enhance product quality.<br /> What You Bring<br /> &bull; 5-8 years of experience in vehicle integration or a related role in the automotive or<br /> electric vehicle industry.<br /> &bull; Strong understanding of vehicle systems and their interactions, including<br /> mechanical, electrical, and software subsystems.<br /> &bull; Hands-on experience with vehicle-level testing and validation, including<br /> troubleshooting and debugging complex systems.<br /> &bull; Proficiency in CAD tools and basic knowledge of electrical and thermal analysis<br /> tools is a plus.<br /> &bull; Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to<br /> identifying and resolving integration challenges.<br /> &bull; Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in<br /> cross-functional teams.<br /> &bull; Experience working on electric two-wheelers or motorcycles, with knowledge of<br /> unique challenges in subsystem integration for these vehicles.<br /> &bull; Familiarity with regulatory standards and testing protocols for vehicle safety and<br /> performance.</div> <div>Benefits<br /> &bull; World-Class Team: Join a team of leading engineers, operators, and entrepreneurs</div> <div>from across the globe who are part of the inevitable trillion-dollar transition of two-<br /> wheelers to electric!</div> <div>&bull; Competitive Compensation: Competitive salary and equity package based on<br /> experience.<br /> &bull; Impact: Be a part of the trillion-dollar transition of two-wheelers to electric and<br /> make a significant impact on global energy consumption and emissions.<br /> Let&rsquo;s Drive!<br /> Will you be part of the electric transition?
