Executive – OTC
Job Summary
The Executive – Order to Cash (OTC) will play a crucial role in managing the Order to Cash process, ensuring efficient billing, collections, and customer management. This position is integral to providing insights for strategic planning and enhancing customer experiences while maintaining compliance with company policies and data privacy regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct periodic activities for the Order to Cash process, including credit management, customer account management, invoice accounting, and revenue recognition.
- Prepare regular reports on billing, collections, and customer interactions, providing insights to management for informed decision-making and strategic planning.
- Communicate and discuss report insights and proposed actions with the Customer Management & Billing Manager.
- Track and process payments received, addressing any discrepancies or issues related to payments.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth processes related to customer management, billing, and service delivery.
- Update and maintain customer accounts, keeping detailed records of interactions, transactions, and relevant communication.
- Actively participate in OTC process improvement initiatives, suggesting enhancements to streamline billing procedures and optimize overall operations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in enterprise-level financial software and systems, such as SAP S/4HANA or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
- Working knowledge of basic accounting practices and regulations applicable under GST laws in India.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills for interaction with various stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a proactive attitude towards process improvement.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in Bahasa or Portuguese will be a plus.
- Relevant certifications or additional qualifications in finance or accounting are advantageous.
Experience
- 2 to 4 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections & billing, financial reporting, or a similar role within a finance or accounting function.
- Experience in a financial shared services environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proven track record of process improvement and optimization initiatives within accounts receivable or related financial processes is advantageous.
