Job Description –Business Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities
● Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
● Build and manage annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and scenario planning models.
● Analyze business unit / SKU / region / channel-wise performance to identify growth levers.
● Business Partnering & Decision Support.
● Partner with sales, operations, and supply chain to assess pricing, margins, and ROI of initiatives.
● Support negotiations with suppliers/customers through financial models and profitability analysis.
● Investor & Board Reporting.
● Prepare monthly MIS, dashboards, and KPI reports for investors and leadership.
● Support fundraise processes through data rooms, due diligence, and financial projections.
● Cash Flow & Working Capital Management:
● Track receivables, payables, and credit terms to ensure liquidity discipline.
● Develop frameworks for credit assessment of customers/suppliers to mitigate bad debt risks.
● Controls & Compliance.
● Strengthen financial processes, systems, and internal controls in line with best practices.
● Work with auditors, legal, and banking partners on compliance requirements.
Requirements
● Chartered Accountant / MBA Finance / CFA with 5–8 years of experience in FP&A, business finance, or
consulting.
● Prior exposure to manufacturing, FMCG, or B2B sectors, with a strong preference for candidates from startup
environments.
● Strong financial modeling, Excel, and presentation skills.
● Experience in early-stage/startup setups will be a plus.
● Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, resource-lean environment.
● Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
