Mangalam Brands Private Limited (MBPL) is a subsidiary of Mangalam Organics Limited, the largest manufacturer of camphor in the world. MBPL is an FMCG company that manufactures, markets, and distributes two key brands:

• Mangalam: Camphor for pious purposes and aromatherapy.
• CamPure: Camphor-based products for homecare, air care, and personal care needs.

MBPL retails its products across various trade formats including Modern Trade (MT), General Trade (GT), and E-commerce, with an annual turnover of over Rs 200 Crore. The manufacturing site is located at Khopoli, and the head office is in Lower Parel, Mumbai.

Job Summary

The Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) works directly with the CEO, overseeing various initiatives without dedicated ownership. This role is tailored for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, embraces ambiguity, and is driven to execute strategies and objectives essential for the company's growth.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the CEO to handle tasks lacking dedicated ownership.
• Utilize prior strategy and generalist operations experience to execute projects independently.
• Assess needs by understanding organizational dynamics and priorities.
• Create and analyze spreadsheets, evaluate Profit & Loss statements, and identify discrepancies.
• Communicate clearly and effectively in writing and verbally with suppliers, partners, and stakeholders.
• Adapt to evolving job responsibilities and diverse challenges in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of work experience in strategy and generalist operations.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and financial analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with market trends in FMCG and consumer goods.
• Leadership experience and project management skills.
• Adaptability to working in a start-up or entrepreneurial environment.

Experience

Minimum of 2+ years of experience in strategy, operations, or similar roles required, with a preference for those with prior entrepreneurial exposure.

Environment

This role is based in Mumbai, with a fast-paced and flexible work setting typical of a start-up environment.

Salary

Estimated budget of 15 LPA. This position is open to male candidates only.
