Job Summary

The Supply Planner will be responsible for developing and executing supply plans aligned with demand forecasts, ensuring optimal inventory levels, and collaborating with various teams to drive operational efficiency. This role is critical in managing supply chain processes and mitigating risks, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute short-term and long-term supply plans aligned with demand forecasts.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure capacity alignment and material availability.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid stock-outs and minimize excess inventory.
  • Track supplier lead times, production constraints, and capacity limitations to ensure smooth operations.
  • Actively participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes.
  • Identify potential supply risks and create proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Analyze variances between planned vs. actual supply, driving improvements and corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate planning data and reports within Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Drive and support continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, engineering, or business.
  • 4–10 years of experience in:
    • Supply Planning
    • Production Planning
    • Inventory Planning
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of ERP tools such as SAP, Oracle, APO, or Kinaxis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Solid understanding of inventory management and supply chain processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and collaboration skills.
  • High attention to detail with a proactive and ownership-driven mindset.
  • Certifications such as APICS / CPIM are a strong advantage.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in preferred industries such as Quick Commerce (Q commerce), FMCG, manufacturing, retail, pharma, or e-commerce.

Experience

4–10 years of relevant experience in Supply Planning, Production Planning, and Inventory Planning.

Environment

This position is based in the Bangalore headquarters, promoting collaboration within the Supply Chain & Logistics department in a dynamic work environment.

Salary

Estimated salary range is 20 – 28 LPA.
