Job Summary

The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in working on an INGENIUM based application. This role involves making changes and enhancements based on Functional Specifications and Change Requests to support the organization's goals effectively.

Responsibilities

• Participate actively in technical feasibility studies and estimate project scopes.
• Prepare technical specification documents and perform coding and unit testing.
• Work closely with Business Analysts and the Testing Team to implement system changes and conduct technical walkthroughs.
• Analyze requirements outlined in Functional Specifications, performing modifications and defect fixes during the testing phase.
• Identify system gaps and propose feasible technical solutions.
• Assist in deploying system changes across various regions and guide other IT application teams regarding changes in core applications.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications: B.Tech/B.E
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years; up to 6 years preferred.
• Technical Skills:
  • Business Analysis and Life Insurance knowledge.
  • Proficiency in the CyberLife Platform, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Requirements Gathering.
  • Expertise in Gap Analysis, Process Mapping, Impact Assessment, and Agile Methodology.
  • Strong documentation skills: Business Requirements Document (BRD), Functional Requirements Document (FRD), User Stories, and Process Flows.
  • Familiarity with Data Dictionary and Mainframe Systems, COBOL, VSAM Data, and JCL Job Dependencies.
  • Experience with JIRA, ALM, and Quality Center.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of INGENIUM Architecture and Life Insurance Domain.
• Proficiency in DB2 and SQL queries.
• Hands-on experience with Windows/Unix/AIX OS platforms.

Experience

1 - 6 years of relevant experience, with a focus on business analysis in the IT sector.
