<div>Role Overview<br />
TThe Senior Manager - Government Sales will drive revenue growth by leading government sales initiatives,<br />
identifying and developing new leads, and managing the complete sales cycle to successful contract closure.<br />
This role will play a crucial part in securing partnerships and contracts with government entities and will be<br />
responsible for developing a robust sales pipeline in line with our strategic growth objectives.</div>

<div>Responsibilities:<br />
● Government Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a strategic plan to engage with government<br />
bodies, ministries, public sector units (PSUs), and healthcare agencies.<br />
● Lead Identification and Generation: Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within<br />
government healthcare, public health programs, and government-funded medical initiatives.<br />
● Sales Cycle Management: Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to<br />
contract negotiation, close, and follow-up, ensuring a smooth and efficient sales process.<br />
● Tender Management: Identify, pursue, and manage tenders and requests for proposals (RFPs) related<br />
to healthcare and medical devices within government entities.<br />
● Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in<br />
government health departments, public hospitals, and regulatory bodies.<br />
● Compliance and Regulatory: Ensure all engagements with government stakeholders comply with<br />
regulatory, legal, and ethical standards.<br />
● Contract Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations with government buyers to secure favorable<br />
contracts, pricing, and terms.<br />
● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, regulatory, and finance<br />
teams to ensure the product is aligned with government healthcare standards and pricing models.<br />
● Advocacy and Policy Influence: Stay abreast of healthcare policy changes, government healthcare<br />
initiatives, and funding opportunities that could impact sales.<br />
● Sales Forecasting: Provide accurate forecasting and reporting on sales performance, pipelines, and<br />
government sales channels.</div>

<div>Requirement:<br />
● A bachelor's degree in business, healthcare management, engineering, or a related field. An MBA or a<br />
master's degree in a relevant field is a plus.<br />
● 10-12 years of experience in government sales, ideally within the medical device, healthtech, or<br />
healthcare industries.<br />
● In-depth understanding of government procurement processes, public health policies, and regulations<br />
in the healthcare/medical device sectors.<br />
● Proven success in closing large-scale government contracts and navigating complex sales cycles in<br />
public sector environments.<br />
● Exceptional negotiation and communication skills with the ability to present complex technical<br />
information in an understandable format.<br />
● Familiarity with legal and compliance frameworks governing government tenders and contracts,<br />
including ethical practices and anti-corruption regulations.<br />
● Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel frequently to meet with government stakeholders across<br />
different regions.</div>
