DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

The DevOps Engineer will play a critical role in managing and improving the software development lifecycle by automating processes and optimizing workflows. This position will collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure the seamless delivery of applications and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab.
• Utilize Docker for containerization and orchestration to streamline development and deployment processes.
• Write and maintain shell scripts to automate routine tasks.
• Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure using Azure to ensure high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
• Continuously improve DevOps tools and processes to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Experience with Docker and container orchestration.
  • Strong knowledge of shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with cloud services, particularly Azure.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
• Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other cloud platforms and orchestration tools would be a plus.
