Job Summary

The Java Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions, primarily using Java technologies. This role contributes to the organization’s goals by ensuring effective design and implementation of robust applications, aligning with best practices and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable software applications using Java, J2EE, and Spring Frameworks.
• Develop and manage databases, ensuring effective integration with Relational Databases like Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions using Agile methodologies.
• Utilize tools like Maven/Jenkins for automated builds and deployments.
• Implement Microservice Architecture and adhere to SOLID principles in software design.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance issues while ensuring the security and efficiency of applications.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Excellent knowledge of J2EE, Spring Frameworks, Hibernate/JPA, JUnit, JMS, Maven/Jenkins, and Web Services.
  • Strong understanding of Microservice Architecture and SOLID principles.
  • Experience with Relational Databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL).
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
  • Proficiency in Apache Kafka.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of Terraform or equivalent.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of GIS concepts and ESRI technologies is a plus.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Java development and associated technologies.

Environment

• Work setting is hybrid, with some in-office presence required in Bengaluru.
