Job Description – Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering
Experience Required: 3 – 6 years
Industry Preference: EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services)
Role Overview
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer with hands-on experience in the EMS industry. The candidate will
be responsible for driving engineering change management, BOM (Bill of Materials) verification and
comparison, and ensuring smooth transition of products from design to mass production. The role demands
strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage Engineering Change Management (ECN/ECO/PCN) processes and ensure timely
implementation in manufacturing.
• Review, verify, and compare BOMs (Bill of Materials) for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with
customer requirements.
• Validate component alternates, substitutes, and compliance with EMS standards (RoHS/REACH).
• Support NPI (New Product Introduction) activities and provide manufacturability feedback to design
teams.
• Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams to evaluate component availability, cost, and risk.
• Work with design, quality, and production teams to resolve engineering or manufacturing issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and reduce defects.
• Prepare and maintain engineering
