Job Summary

This position is responsible for performing a variety of human resources support duties. The role will assist with recruitment, onboarding, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with applicable policies and regulations. The incumbent will serve as a point of contact for employee questions and support the HR team in delivering effective HR services that contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Support the recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, scheduling interviews, and coordinating communication with candidates.
  • Assist with new employee onboarding activities and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in both digital and paper formats.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Ensure HR practices are compliant with relevant laws and organizational policies.
  • Provide administrative support for HR initiatives, events, and training sessions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with HR software or Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) is preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience in an HR support or administrative role.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.

Experience

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in human resources or administrative support roles.

Environment

This role is typically office-based with standard working hours. The work environment is professional and collaborative, with occasional requirements for extended hours during special projects or peak periods. Remote or hybrid work options may be available depending on organizational policy.
