Job Summary
The Senior Manager/Assistant General Manager, acting as an HR Business Partner and Admin Plant Lead, plays a crucial role in providing strategic business partnering to leaders within the organization. This position focuses on addressing key people challenges to promote a strong, high-performing culture and enhance employee engagement at the Ambernath plant. The incumbent will oversee HR and administration operations while leading a team of 2-3 members.
Responsibilities
HRBP Responsibilities:
- Oversee overall day-to-day HRBP operations including onboarding, offboarding, employee engagement, performance management, rewards and recognition, and grievance management.
- Advise on optimal organizational structures to facilitate growth, manage restructures and redeployments, and promote employee engagement during periods of change.
- Contribute to mergers and acquisitions (M&A) processes, including due diligence, risk assessment, integration planning, and communications.
- Collaborate autonomously with HR functional leads to implement high-impact HR initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Analyze workforce data and trends to provide insights that support decision-making and assess the effectiveness of talent management and development programs.
- Lead organizational change initiatives, managing stakeholder engagement, communication strategies, and change management processes for successful implementation.
- Ensure policies and practices align with organizational requirements, recommending improvements that drive employee engagement.
- Develop the HRBP team to meet key deliverables, conducting strong reviews with a focus on problem-solving and analytics across multiple review forums.
Admin Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall plant administration including facility management, infrastructure maintenance, vendor management, travel coordination, canteen, laundry, and security operations.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Present Management Information System (MIS) and analytics across multiple review forums.
Qualifications
- Educational Qualifications: Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Commerce/Business, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience: 1 to 15 years of experience in a strategic HRBP role with a strong understanding of plant operations.
- Technical Skills: Extensive experience with Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS) and the ability to leverage data for strategic insights.
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with a capability to build relationships and influence at all organizational levels. Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and various HR-related technology tools.
Preferred Skills
- Comfort with ambiguity and proven ability to lead change initiatives in dynamic and evolving environments.
Experience
1 to 15 years of relevant experience in strategic HRBP roles.
Environment
This position requires working 6 days a week at the plant in Ambernath. The environment may be dynamic, involving both HR and administrative responsibilities.
