Job Summary

The Project Architect will play a crucial role in the conceptualization, coordination, and execution of architectural projects. This position is responsible for ensuring that design ideas are effectively translated into actionable plans, while adhering to company guidelines and improving processes for enhanced efficiency. The Project Architect will collaborate with various teams to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Project Conceptualization:

  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of Redevelopment By-laws and Development Control Regulations (DCR).
  • Analyze and calculate the area for future projects and draft design proposals for client presentations.
  • Translate design ideas into comprehensive design briefs for consultants and architects.

• Appointment of Consultants:

  • Appoint consultants based on proposal analysis.
  • Brief consultants on project requirements, expectations, and timelines.

• Project Coordination:

  • Collaborate effectively with teams such as liaison, projects, and sales.
  • Ensure consistency of product specifications across General Floor Area (GFA), General Floor Construction (GFC), and sales brochures.
  • Acquire necessary approvals for design and materials for construction.
  • Track project progress and implement corrective actions regarding design as needed.
  • Address and mitigate queries during the construction process.

• Process Adherence:

  • Comply with company-defined guidelines and processes.
  • Adhere to project timelines.

• Process Improvement:

  • Identify areas for process improvement within the work area.
  • Recommend and implement process improvement ideas to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.

• Learning and Development:

  • Identify development needs for self and team.
  • Pursue development opportunities through training, education, and project involvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Redevelopment By-laws and DCR Regulations.
• Proficiency in architectural design software and tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience in project management and coordination.
