Job Summary
The IT Service Management (ITSM) role is designed to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services within the organization through the effective application of ITSM frameworks and processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing critical IT processes, ensuring prompt incident resolution, and driving improvements in service delivery. With an application deadline of May 30, 2025, and an expected start date of 15 days from confirmation, this full-time role is a key position within our IT operations based in Bangalore.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage IT service management processes to ensure high service availability and performance.
- Implement and maintain ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management procedures.
- Monitor key IT performance indicators and service level agreements, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with ITSM standards and best practices.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to IT team members involved in service management activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Service Management.
- Solid understanding and practical application of ITSM frameworks, such as ITIL.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage IT operations in fast-paced and dynamic work environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
Preferred Skills
- ITIL certification (e.g., ITIL Foundation or higher) is a plus.
- Familiarity with ITSM toolsets (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy) is highly desirable.
- Experience with change management and process improvement methodologies.
Experience
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in managing IT service management functions and operations.
