Position Title: Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) A. Organization Context Business Unit: Srei Infrastructure Finance Ltd. Function: Human Resources Role: Chief Human Resources Officer Location: Kolkata Reports to: Managing Director & CEO Team Size: 3 Grade: CS2 Designation: Head / Senior Vice President / Vice President B. Job Objective Lead the Human Resource function for SREI Financial Services & subsidiaries to ensure development and effective implementation of HR policies, processes through constant engagement with all key stakeholders. C. Key responsibilities Accountabilities Business Outcomes Ensure alignment of Organisation Structures to business needs. Over all incharge of Staffing, KRA allocation / formation, review of Compensation Structure / Employee Benefits. Conduct review of organization structure, delegation of authority to ensure the organization structure is aligned to business priorities. Facilitate manpower planning; identify manpower needs of the assigned organizations on a regular basis Facilitate fulfilment of manpower requirements across departments through identification and development of new channels and adherence to manpower budget Guide development and administration of induction process for new employees at various levels Facilitate capability building through development of Training & Development programs and related processes in alignment with business needs Lead designing and improvement of HR Processes (Performance Management, Compensation etc.) Policies based on feedback from Business, People Committee, Employee Engagement Surveys, Town halls, Open Houses etc. Work closely with all key stakeholders to ensure strengthening of Srei culture. Risk, Process & Compliance Ensure time-bound and effective implementation of critical HR Processes e.g. Performance Management, Succession Planning, Probation through capability building of business leaders and continuous monitoring. Review manual processes in the department and identify areas of potential automation to improve efficiency. And facilitate collaboration with IT Team to explore automation possibilities. Ensure compliance to labour/employment laws for SIFL, SEFL. Ensure corrective action, in case of any violation. Oversee all compliances related to audits (Internal, ISO etc.) for the HR Function. Educate business leaders, managers to proactively identify and reduce cases of ‘regrettable attrition’ People Manage self and team through the establishment of goal setting and review mechanisms to achieve the objectives of the HR function Ensure effective career and succession planning for critical positions in the HR Function Ensure adequate training/development of HR team members to meet the requirements of internal customers and key stakeholders Provide guidance, counselling and feedback to team members on their performance to ensure a motivated and committed team D. Minimum Requirements Qualification: Graduate, Preferably MBA (HR) Experience Minimum 15 years of experience Certification / Knowledge Knowledge on Employment Laws, Technology E.
