Job Summary

The Dot Net Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications using the .NET platform, ensuring high standards of quality through effective unit testing. This role plays a critical part in delivering software solutions that meet business requirements and enhances our digital learning capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using .NET framework and ensure high-quality code through unit testing.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to create seamless integration between the server and client-side applications.
• Write efficient JavaScript code alongside HTML and CSS to enhance user experience.
• Design applications based on natural user interfaces while translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Optimize application performance through benchmarking and version control using tools like Git.
• Engage in continuous integration practices to ensure frequent and reliable software releases.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with .NET technologies.
  • At least 4 years of experience in coding with .NET and unit testing best practices.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience using the ASP.NET Core framework.
  • In-depth knowledge of RDBMS databases, specifically SQL Server.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with frontend frameworks such as Angular.
• Hands-on knowledge of Angular 8.
• Familiarity with Clever/OneRoster and LTI standards is a plus.
• Previous experience in the EdTech sector is preferred.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
