r Content Writer/Content head Exp: 5-8 Yrs We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Content Writer or Content Head to join our team and produce engaging and persuasive content for one of our clients. They are one of the world’s largest venture capital firms. As a Senior Content Writer, you will be responsible for creating effective and response-driven copy, developing an editorial calendar, and writing and proofreading articles on various topics related to start-ups, sector specific content and the VC ecosystem. Your ability to distill complex topics into reader-friendly content with a catchy headline will be critical to capturing the attention of the target audience. Key Responsibilities: ● Create a comprehensive content strategy aligned with the VC firm's business and marketing objectives and tailored to diverse content formats ● Produce compelling content that speaks to startup founders showcasing the VC firm's expertise, thought leadership, and approachability ● Conduct thorough research on industry trends, startup news, and VC best practices to ensure that the content is relevant and up-to-date ● Collaborate with other teams to brainstorm and suggest topics for blogs, educational content, and other content formats ● Edit and proofread all copy to ensure it meets the client's tonality guidelines, objectives, and editorial standards ● Repurpose content from events, webinars, and other platforms ● Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and start-up/sector-related news to ensure that the content is current and relevant Education Qualification and Experience: ● Bachelor's or master's degree in English literature or mass communication or journalism ● 7+ years of experience in content creation, copywriting, and content strategy within the finance or start-up sectors ● Experience working in content teams across consulting companies, financial firms preferable ● Strong understanding of the start-up ecosystem, venture capital industry, and technology trends ● Excellent writing skills and the ability to create compelling, informative, and reader-friendly content across different formats ● Experience in conducting research and analyzing data to inform content strategy ● Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines ● Familiarity with different content management systems and social media platforms ● Keen eye for detail, impeccable grammar and spelling, and a passion for delivering high-quality content similar to NutGraf, The Ken, or Angel List To apply, please submit a portfolio consisting of at least 5-10 content pieces spread across various topics that encompass entrepreneurship, technology, start-ups, and finance.
