Responsibilities

• Create and develop complex e-commerce applications as a member of diverse, high-energy technical teams focused on full life-cycle development based on Agile/SAFe methodologies.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, technical staff members, architects, and project members to develop new functionalities from business specifications.
• Engage in the entire lifecycle including analysis, development, fixing, and monitoring of issues.
• Utilize the latest tools and techniques (e.g., Java/J2EE, XML, REST, Spring, Microservices, Junit, Mockito, Git).
• Perform hands-on coding while proactively mentoring junior developers.
• Work in highly collaborative teams that aim to build quality code and provide business value.
• Continuously learn, mentor, and develop your career.
• Focus on writing clean, high-quality code with solid designs.
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
• Write and execute unit test cases for developed functionalities.
• Contribute extensively to the code review process and adhere to coding standards.

• Apply Test Driven Development (TDD) within a continuous integration environment.

Qualifications

• An Engineering Degree (B.E/B.Tech/MS) in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
• Professional programming experience with a minimum of 6+ years of strong product development experience.
• Proficient in Java and Spring Framework.
• Working experience with databases (SQL/SQL Server).
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and hands-on experience with any public cloud service (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Excellent object-oriented design (OOD) skills.
• Strong expertise in data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) within a continuous integration environment.
• Familiarity with working in a SAFe/Agile environment is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks may be beneficial.
• Experience in microservices architecture.

Experience

• Minimum of 6 years of professional programming experience in software development.
