Dev Ops/MLOps Engineer

Job Summary

The DevOps Engineer will play a critical role in the design, development, and management of cloud-native applications on AWS. This role is essential for enhancing our infrastructure capabilities and ensures the smooth operation of AI/ML platforms. The ideal candidate will leverage DevOps practices to improve deployment and operational workflows across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud-native applications utilizing AWS serverless services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, Cognito, and CloudWatch.
• Manage and operate AI/ML platforms hosted on AWS, ensuring robust and efficient data processing.
• Develop infrastructure as code using AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) or similar tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Construct front-end and back-end solutions, contributing to complete software application development.
• Contribute to the implementation of event-driven and microservices architectures to enhance system scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, supporting DevOps processes including CI/CD pipelines and configuration management, while troubleshooting issues across the entire stack.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: 7-10 years of experience in DevOps and AWS.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, Cognito, CloudWatch, AWS Glue, Step Functions, S3, and containers (ECS, EKS).
  • Experience working with AI/ML platforms on AWS.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Golang, TypeScript, or React.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools (AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation).
  • Solid understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tooling.
  • Experience with test-driven development and relevant frameworks.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across the stack.

Preferred Skills

• Any additional certifications related to AWS or DevOps practices would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

Experience

• A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant work experience in a DevOps or similar role.
