VP Finance<br /> Location: Mumbai, India<br /> This role will be instrumental in ensuring financial accuracy, strengthening internal controls, and supporting strategic initiatives such as investor relations, fundraising, and eventually driving the IPO Journey (in the next 4-5 years). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial accounting, audit, taxation, and consolidation, with experience in a similarly complex setup.<br /> Key Responsibilities:<br /> • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.<br /> • Optimize cost structures, particularly managing and reducing vendor costs. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements<br /> • Lead tax planning, regulatory compliance, and financial audits.<br /> • Optimize working capital management, including cash flow and treasury functions.<br /> • Work closely with founders, investors, auditors, banks, fintech, and regulators.<br /> • Provide data-driven insights to enhance financial decision-making and operational efficiency.<br /> Qualifications & Experience:<br /> • Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance.<br /> • 8-12 years of experience with a proven track record in high-growth environments and building lean teams.<br /> • Good understanding/exposure of data infrastructure ecosystem (preferably Pay-Per-Transaction model).
