Campaign Developer Role
Job Summary
The Campaign Developer will be responsible for hands-on development in creating email templates, multi-step journeys, and automations. This role involves providing technical leadership and expertise in email campaign management, ensuring effective integration and utilization of the Adobe Marketo platform.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on development of building email templates, multi-step journeys, and automations.
- Provide technical leadership on implementations and managed services related to campaign development.
- Act as a platform subject matter expert to guide best practices and optimize usage.
- Create technical specifications and document current and future-state processes for campaign initiatives.
- Provide architecture around internal data flow and integrations with other systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to document the technical approach and execution for campaigns.
- Support data analytics, campaign management, and strategy teams to enhance campaign effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Technology, Marketing, Math, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of Adobe Marketo experience, including campaign development and integration expertise.
- Background with multiple Adobe Marketo implementations.
- Development experience in SQL, Marketo personalization, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Demonstrated history of establishing and maintaining relationships with internal and external clients.
- Ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic work environment.
- Capability to work effectively both in a team setting and independently.
- Adaptable and solution-focused with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to be on call for any Quality Assurance (QA) support outside of business hours.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with additional marketing automation platforms.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance.
- Familiarity with analytics tools to assess campaign performance.
Experience
4+ years of relevant experience in campaign development, specifically with Adobe Marketo and related integration.
