Job Summary

The Data Scientist 3 role is designed for an experienced professional who will leverage advanced technical and functional knowledge to transform data into actionable insights. This position plays a crucial role in identifying and quantifying business opportunities, solving complex business problems, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Transform data into insights to identify and quantify business opportunities using machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistical learning, pattern recognition, or high-performance computing techniques.
• Collect and manage large data sets to perform complex data analysis.
• Implement data analysis algorithms on a large scale while collaborating closely with data engineering team members.
• Communicate and translate complex results and their implications to business stakeholders effectively.
• Manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from various sources using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques.
• Identify both internal and external data sources and transform them into actionable insights that support fact-based decision-making.
• Actively participate in a community of practice for data scientists.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge in data science methodologies and tools.
• Proficiency in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and statistical analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with data manipulation and analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience in high-performance computing techniques.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data science or a related field.
