Job Summary

As the Head of Product, you will play a crucial role in transforming bold ideas into impactful products that millions of people rely on daily. This entrepreneurial position reports directly to the CEO and requires versatility, allowing you to take on various roles. You will be central to co-creating the product vision and ensuring that each release aligns with clear business and user goals.

Responsibilities

• Co-own the product vision and roadmap in collaboration with the CEO, ensuring every release is tied to business or user wins.
• Engage with users weekly — including blue-collar workers, recruiters, and employers — to gather insights and facilitate quick, iterative launches.
• Build and mentor a skilled team of Product Managers (PMs), designers, and data specialists.
• Actively participate in the product development process, showing rather than just telling.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Operations teams to achieve revenue, retention, and Net Promoter Score (NPS) targets.
• Balance the need for rapid MVP launches with the development of long-term architectural solutions.

Qualifications

• Builder’s mindset: Proven experience launching 0-to-1 products and scaling them rapidly.
• Empathy for users: An obsession with the craft of product development and a deep understanding of user needs.
• Curiosity: Ability to thrive in fast-paced, information-rich environments.
• Communication skills: Strong ability to communicate clearly and align cross-functional teams.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in product management, with a track record of leading a small team of PMs.
• People development: Experience in coaching and growing team members.
• Product growth: A proven record of scaling a product 10X or more.
• Industry exposure: Hands-on experience in operationally intensive businesses.

Preferred Skills

• Background in early-stage startups (Series A-D) or as a founder.
• Experience building products for the "Bharat" market or targeting next-billion users.
• Familiarity with developing AI/ML-based products.

Experience

• At least 10 years of experience in product management, including leadership experience with a small team.
