About the Role:

IBI Group is looking for a detail-oriented and inquisitive OSINT Research Analyst and Reporter to join our on-site team in Mumbai. This role focuses on open-source business and market research — not geopolitical intelligence. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a knack for finding credible information online, and the ability to transform research data into clear, insightful reports.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders to provide actionable intelligence on companies, industries, and emerging business trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth open-source research on companies, industries, markets, and key individuals using public databases, news portals, regulatory filings, and online sources.
• Analyze and verify information to identify trends, patterns, and potential business or reputational risks.
• Prepare well-structured written reports and summaries for internal and client use.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support risk consulting, due diligence, and market intelligence projects.
• Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and ethical research standards.
• Stay updated on industry developments and research tools to enhance data quality and efficiency.
