Job Summary
The Sales Lead for Cardio Kidney Metabolic will be responsible for driving regional growth and leading a large team to achieve business objectives in the CKM segment. This individual will play a crucial role in developing sales strategies, enhancing market penetration, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead regional business planning, formulate CKM sales strategies, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Strengthen distribution channels, explore new market opportunities, and drive business volume growth.
- Build, coach, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Drive strong Key Opinion Leader (KOL) engagement and manage key governmental and private accounts effectively.
- Oversee Territory Business Manager (TBM) operations, sales performance analysis (primary/secondary/tertiary), and inventory planning.
- Execute brand and launch strategies in collaboration with regulatory, medical, human resources, and finance teams.
Qualifications
- Education: Science graduate; MBA preferred.
- Experience:
- 20-25 years in pharmaceutical sales with a minimum of 5 years in second-line/Regional Business Manager roles.
- Expertise in Cardio-Kidney Metabolic (CKM) therapy is mandatory; multi-therapy experience is acceptable if CKM was managed in the last 5 years.
- Skill Set:
- Proven success in product launches and team leadership.
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
- Strong understanding of the Indian pharmaceutical market, including regulations and digital tools.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with key digital marketing tools and techniques.
- Strong networking abilities within the pharmaceutical sector.
Experience
- 20-25 years in pharmaceutical sales, with specific emphasis on regional management experience within CKM therapies.
Environment
- Location: Positions available in Bangalore and Chennai, with consideration for candidates in Mumbai who have experience in the South region.
- Work Setting: Primarily office-based with some travel expected to engage with stakeholders and support regional teams.
