Manager
Job Summary
The Manager will play a pivotal role in driving supply chain optimization, procurement transformation, and cost reduction strategies within the organization. This position focuses on leading business transformation initiatives and ensuring operational excellence by implementing industry best practices and continuous process improvement. The Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable business results aligned with company goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute supply chain optimization projects to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Drive procurement transformation initiatives to streamline sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiations.
- Develop and implement cost reduction strategies across various business units.
- Facilitate business transformation projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations.
- Promote operational excellence through the adoption of best practices and process standardization.
- Conduct business process improvement analyses and recommend actionable solutions for continuous enhancement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain optimization, procurement, or business process improvement.
- Proven track record of leading cost reduction and business transformation initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of operational excellence methodologies and process improvement tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Proficiency in using supply chain and procurement management software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as Six Sigma, Lean, or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
- Experience in change management and digital transformation projects.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and data analytics tools.
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain optimization, procurement transformation, cost reduction, or business transformation roles.
- Experience in operational excellence and business process improvement within mid-to-large organizations is highly valued.
Environment
- Full-time role.
- Location: Mumbai preferred, but not mandatory; flexibility for remote or hybrid work arrangements may be considered.
- Standard business office environment with occasional travel depending on project requirements.
Salary
- Estimated salary range: ₹22,00,000 – ₹48,00,000 per annum.
