Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Manager to lead and support a cross-functional team. This role is evenly split between technical contribution and people management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, analytics, and software development life cycles, combined with proven leadership in Agile environments. The Technical Manager will manage a team of 13 people.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical guidance in solution architecture, ETL development, data modeling, and analytics.
• Coordinate and support team members, stepping in to contribute to technical tasks as needed.
• Develop or configure business intelligence/analytics software.
• Prioritize work with Product Owners and manage product backlogs.
• Write technical documentation in a software development environment.
• Manage the delivery of solutions leveraging software development life cycles (e.g., SDLC).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in solution delivery leveraging software development life cycles (SDLC).
• 3+ years of experience developing or configuring business intelligence/analytics software.
• 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• 2+ years of experience in systems analysis and high-level technical design for complex systems.
• 2+ years of experience writing technical documentation in a software development environment.
• Proficient in JIRA and Agile project tracking tools.
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of business value delivery.
• Scrum Master experience preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in prioritizing work with Product Owners and managing product backlogs.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in technical and people management roles.
