Job Summary

We are seeking a high-impact Supply Chain Professional to lead our Logistics Strategy. This strategic role is tailored for an individual with a proven track record in cost optimization, process automation, and warehouse capacity planning across both B2B and B2C channels. As a key player in the operations team, you will assess current logistics performance, promote digital transformation through ERP integrations, and ensure the supply chain efficiently scales alongside our growing direct-to-consumer (D2C) and retail segments.

Responsibilities

• Logistics Strategy & Cost Optimization

  • Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies for B2B/B2C to minimize transportation and warehousing costs.
  • Identify and realize cost-saving opportunities across first-mile, mid-mile, and last-mile operations.
  • Perform industry benchmarking for turnaround time (TAT), cost-per-shipment, and carrier efficiency.

• Network & Capacity Planning

  • Lead assessments of warehouse capacity, including slotting, layout optimization, and throughput planning.
  • Strategize new warehouse locations based on regional demand forecasting and serviceability requirements.
  • Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) partners to optimize space utilization and mitigate capacity risks.

• Digital Automation & ERP Integration

  • Spearhead automation initiatives, including Transportation Management System (TMS)/Warehouse Management System (WMS) enhancements, barcode integration, and route optimization.
  • Bridge operations and technology to ensure seamless ERP integration (order flow, inventory synchronization, and real-time proof of delivery (POD) updates).
  • Troubleshoot system gaps to improve uptime and data accuracy across the logistics ecosystem.

• Vendor & Partner Management

  • Manage end-to-end relationships with 3PLs, carriers, and last-mile delivery providers.
  • Conduct rigorous quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and performance audits.
  • Lead onboarding and negotiation cycles for new logistics service providers to enhance service level agreements (SLAs).

• Operational Excellence & SLA Management

  • Monitor critical key performance indicators (KPIs): Fulfillment Rate, Delivery TAT, Return to Origin (RTO) percentage, and Dispute Closures.
  • Standardize operations by implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for logistics workflows and returns management.
  • Drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis (RCA) on operational bottlenecks.

Qualifications

• Experience

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in Logistics Strategy or Warehouse Planning.
  • Background with direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) logistics, 3PLs, or last-mile delivery providers.

• Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in ERP systems, WMS/TMS tools, and data-driven decision-making.

• Soft Skills

  • Strong negotiation skills, analytical mindset, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automation technologies and advanced logistics solutions.
• Familiarity with industry trends in logistics and supply chain management.

Experience

4-6 years of relevant experience primarily focused on Logistics Strategy or Warehouse Planning.

Environment

The position is based in Gurgaon, and may involve a mix of remote and in-office work, depending on operational requirements.
