Job Summary

The Cypress Automation QA role is focused on developing and maintaining automated test scripts using the Cypress tool with TypeScript as the programming language. This position is vital for ensuring the quality and efficiency of software development processes within the organization, contributing to the overall success of projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress with TypeScript as the programming language.
• Implement design patterns such as the Page Object Model (POM) or other test frameworks.
• Collaborate with the team to design and execute tests in a continuous integration environment using Azure DevOps.
• Utilize Git for effective version control of test scripts and related documentation.
• Generate detailed test reports using Mocha and other Cypress-compatible reporting tools.
• Act as an independent and quick learner, capable of adapting to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process and technologies with minimal guidance.

Qualifications

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Cypress for web automation.
  • Strong knowledge of TypeScript and/or JavaScript.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for pipeline execution.
  • Proficient in Git for version control.
  • Familiarity with test reporting tools such as Mocha.
  • Understanding of design patterns in automation testing, particularly Page Object Model (POM).

  • Capable of self-management and independent working.

• Educational Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Years of Experience: 12 to 15 years in automation testing and quality assurance roles.
