Job Summary

The Shopify Developer will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality online stores using Shopify. This role is integral to developing seamless multi-channel experiences by leveraging a strong understanding of Shopify development and related web technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain Shopify stores, focusing on both functionality and aesthetics.
• Utilize HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript (React) to create responsive layouts for various devices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience and streamline processes.
• Implement and debug third-party Shopify apps, customizing solutions as necessitated by business needs.
• Work extensively with Shopify 2.0, including communication with the Storefront API and customization of themes.
• Perform thorough testing and debugging using browser console and external tools to ensure optimal site performance.

Qualifications

• 4-12 years of experience in web development, with a strong focus on Shopify Development.
• 3+ years of direct experience working with Shopify, ideally including Shopify Plus.
• Strong understanding of Shopify's objects and properties, AJAX API, and Meta fields.
• Proficiency in implementing responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
• Experience in working with third-party services, APIs, and specific plugins related to Shopify.
• Excellent debugging skills and familiarity with browser debugging tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of current web technologies and trends in e-commerce development.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in web development, particularly with a focus on Shopify.

Environment

• This position is available in Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, or Hyderabad, with a preference for Pune.
