Job Summary

The Financial Analyst – FP&A / Business Finance will play a pivotal role in strengthening the company's financial planning and analysis capabilities. The candidate will support business decision-making through detailed financial analysis, performance reporting, and forecasting. This role involves working closely with senior finance leaders and business stakeholders to provide actionable insights that drive strategic initiatives and operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare regular Management Information System (MIS) reports and business performance dashboards for the management and internal stakeholders.
• Develop financial and performance reports tailored for investors and other key external stakeholders.
• Lead and support the annual budgeting process and ongoing financial planning activities.
• Create financial forecasts, projections, and rolling forecasts based on current business performance and management inputs.
• Conduct variance analysis comparing Budget vs. Actual figures, identifying key drivers behind deviations.
• Analyze revenue streams, costs, margins, profitability, cash flows, and key business performance indicators to evaluate overall business health.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to facilitate business planning, scenario analysis, and forecasting.
• Monitor and interpret key business metrics, providing insights on trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with operational teams to understand business performance and translate operational data into financial insights.
• Provide financial analysis and strategic support for new initiatives, investments, pricing strategies, and cost optimization efforts.
• Prepare management presentations and dashboards that highlight critical financial and business insights.
• Assist senior management in evaluating business performance and identifying areas for improvement.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and participate in strategic projects as required.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced functions and financial modeling.
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, KPIs, and business metrics.
  • Ability to develop and interpret financial models and forecasts.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, variance analysis, and scenario planning.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
