D365 F&O Functional consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled D365 F&O Functional consultant to manage enterprise-scale Dynamics 365 F&O projects and deployments. The ideal candidate will oversee infrastructure management, environment configurations, and operational administration, ensuring smooth and efficient system performance while driving innovation and best practices across the Dynamics 365 product line.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer the D365 F&O environments by leading deployments, updates, and releases.
• Oversee Azure DevOps and LCS administration including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and monitoring of environments.
• Ensure high-quality system performance by enforcing X++ coding best practices, managing source code versioning (TFVC/GIT), and guiding code merging and promotion processes.
• Plan and execute version upgrades for retail environments, including Store Commerce/POS deployments and configuration management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support development/customization tasks using Visual Studio, C#, Integration Tools, APIs, and Logic Apps.
• Act as a subject matter expert in D365 F&O system administration, security configurations, and cloud/on-prem release management practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Microsoft relevant certification is a plus.
• Exposure to enterprise-scale D365 F&O projects implementations.
• Proven experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation management.
• Experience in source code versioning using TFVC/GIT.
• Hands-on experience with X++ coding best practices, code merging, and release/hotfix promotion to branches.
• Deep understanding of D365 F&O/Commerce retail environments, including deployments and version upgrade planning.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Store Commerce/POS deployments and retail-specific configurations.
• Expertise in LCS administration for environment deployments and monitoring.
• Experience in Azure Infrastructure management.
• Knowledge of development/customization tools and techniques such as Visual Studio, C#, Integration Tools, APIs, and Logic Apps.

Experience

• Relevant experience in managing enterprise-level Dynamics 365 F&O implementations and retail deployments.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure administration, CI/CD processes, and automation within a Dynamics 365 environment.
