Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced ERPNext Consultant/Developer with hands-on experience in implementing, customizing, and supporting ERPNext solutions. This role focuses specifically on Work In Progress (WIP) processes and operations in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of end-to-end business processes related to construction project management, material tracking, cost control, and work progress, contributing to the optimization of these processes through ERPNext solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements of construction projects and WIP processes, translating them into effective ERPNext solutions.
  • Customize ERPNext modules such as Projects, Stock, Accounts, Manufacturing, and Asset Management to fit construction-specific workflows.
  • Implement and configure ERPNext for Construction Industry modules including Project Costing, Work Progress Tracking, Material Management, Procurement, and Billing.
  • Design and implement custom workflows, reports, and dashboards tailored to WIP and construction project management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, and Finance teams, to gather and clarify requirements.
  • Support and troubleshoot ERPNext issues related to construction projects, WIP accounting, and material consumption.
  • Assist in data migration, system integrations, and API development with other construction software tools as necessary.
  • Conduct end-user training sessions and provide comprehensive system documentation.
  • Stay updated on the latest features, best practices, and developments within ERPNext.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in ERPNext development and consulting, particularly within the construction industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERPNext functionalities, customization, and implementation.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Educational Qualifications: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with construction industry standards and WIP accounting practices.
  • Experience with data migration and system integrations.
  • Knowledge of API development and third-party software integration.
  • Training and support experience for end-users.

Experience

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role, particularly in implementing and supporting ERP systems in the construction sector.
